Being proactive means being prepared to face certain situations. We pray for God’s blessings and favors upon us but we still need to be prepared. Things happen even those that we don’t want to happen. What actions that we can do to become proactive in God?

Hope is different from wish. Wish doesn’t make you do anything. Hope, on the other hand, is proactive which is in itself means acting on anticipation of future problems.

Being proactive means acting in anticipation of future needs or changes. Being proactive also means controlling the situation by making things happen or preparing for possible future problems. It is important for us to position ourselves in the right place so that we can respond to any anticipated outcome.

Our hope is neither passive nor reactive but rather proactive. For example, fire fighters and medical response team is a reactive group because they only spring into action if needed. Police department is also reactive especially when a crime has occurred. But, policemen also patrol for the reason to prevent crime. For this reason, police department is also considered a proactive agent. Proactive means acting in anticipation of future problems, needs, or changes.
